Peroxidase DNAzymes are single-stranded, stable G-quadruplexes structures that exhibit catalytic activity with cofactor hemin. This class of DNAzymes offers several advantages over traditional protein and RNA catalysts, including thermal stability, resistance to hydrolysis, and easy of synthesis in the laboratory. However, their use in medicine, biology, and chemistry is limited due to their low catalytic rates.

Background: Mental illness stigma continues to be pervasive and problematic in society. Researchers have attempted to better understand this stigma through investigations into demographic factors that may predict stigma, focusing on factors such as age, ethnicity and education.
Method: We investigated demographic factors in the context of Aotearoa New Zealand, with a particular focus on Māori, the Indigenous people of Aotearoa.

Background: The symptoms and associated characteristics of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) are typically assessed in person at a clinic or in a research lab. Mobile health offers a new approach to obtaining additional passively and continuously measured real-world behavioral data. Using our new ADHD remote technology (ART) system, based on the Remote Assessment of Disease and Relapses (RADAR)-base platform, we explore novel digital markers for their potential to identify behavioral patterns associated with ADHD.

Obesity and its associated metabolic disorders are significant global health challenges, necessitating novel therapeutic approaches. This study explores the anti-adipogenic and anti-dyslipidemic properties of 4655-EF, a novel phytopharmaceutical derived from Polyalthia longifolia, and explores the molecular pathways involved in its pharmacological activity. This phytopharmaceutical was prepared using a bioactivity-guided supercritical fluid extraction method suitable for large-scale production.
