The last decades have brought an interest in ultrasound applications in dermatology. Especially in the case of atopic dermatitis, where the formation of a subepidermal low echogenic band (SLEB) may serve as an independent indicator of the effects of treatment, the use of ultrasound is of particular interest. This study proposes and evaluates the computer-aided diagnosis method for assessing atopic dermatitis (AD).

Purpose: To report the long-term surgical outcomes of acquired ankyloblepharon correction using mucous membrane graft.
Methods: Five eyes of 4 patients (median age, 19 years) with acquired ankyloblepharon were managed using eyelid splitting and mucous membrane graft anchored to the recti muscles on the bulbar surface in the respective quadrant and onto the bare tarsal surface. Outcome measures include a change in the palpebral fissure width, ability to fit scleral contact lenses, visual acuity, and cosmesis.

Kawasaki disease (KD) is an idiopathic acute inflammatory illness that commonly affects children in Northeast Asian countries. In this case report, a psoriasiform eruption appeared on the face and extremities following the onset of KD. A review of previous reports identified 38 cases of psoriasiform eruptions following KD, typically appearing 4 days to 2 months after the onset of KD, unlike other skin manifestations associated with the disease.
