Objective: An MRI protocol for germinoma surveillance after complete remission has not been established. Moreover, the standard treatment for recurrent or refractory germinoma has not been determined. In this study, the authors explored the imaging characteristics of recurrent germinoma and discuss their institution's experience with multidisciplinary treatment of this malignancy.

The objective of this study was to analyze treatment approaches and outcomes according to patients' perspectives for patients with indeterminate spinal instability caused by neoplastic lesions. Data were collected from 31 patients with a total of 147 spinal neoplastic lesions, 29 of whom had lesions classified as indeterminate. These lesions were divided into two groups: the low indeterminate group (SINS 7-9) and the high indeterminate group (SINS 10-12).

Background/objectives: While most studies on the postoperative condition of patients with spinal cord tumors describe long-term outcomes, data are needed on immediate surgical outcomes demanding rehabilitation to make informed assessments for postoperative planning. The aim of this study was to identify factors predicting function and rehabilitative needs after intradural spinal tumor surgery.
Methods: Eighty-five prospectively recruited patients underwent surgery for intradural intramedullary (ID-IM; = 23) and extramedullary (ID-EM; = 62) tumors.
Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is an epithelial malignancy commonly associated with Epstein-Barr virus infection. While bone, liver, and lung metastases are well-documented, central nervous system (CNS) involvement, particularly spinal and meningeal metastases, is extremely rare. We present a 41-year-old male with nasal obstruction and diplopia, diagnosed with locally advanced NPC.

Introduction: Patients with psoriasis (PsO) and permanent spinal cord injuries (SCI) resulting in paraplegia and tetraplegia may experience a higher rate of infections compared to patients with PsO without SCI. It can result in further challenges for therapeutic management with immunosuppressants (biological and non-biological treatments). Thus, we aimed to evaluate the rate of infections in patients with PsO and SCI treated with systemic immunosuppressants.
