A cytogenetic examination of a cow and its offsprings, obtained by pair transplantations of the embryos was carried out. The fragile X and the heteromorphism of the chromosomes XX of this cow and some of its offsprings were revealed. The variability of the hematological chimerism of the pair transplanted embryos was observed. The immigrated cells were, as a rule, distinguished by the comparatively low frequencies of the metaphases with the nearly located chromosomes XX. The heterogeneity of the stem blood cells of the embryos for some traits, and for the ability to migrate in the blood of the twin is under discussion.

Virtual fencing (VF) is a modern fencing technology using Global Positioning System-enabled collars which emit acoustic signals and, if the animal does not respond, electric pulses. Studies with cattle indicate successful learning and no distinct negative impact on the animals' behaviours and stress level. However, the number of studies testing VF with goats is relatively small.

To investigate the impact of maternal microbiota during lactation in different beef cattle breeds on their own immune levels, milk quality, and the growth and development of their offspring, this study measured the immune parameters, intestinal microbiota diversity, and milk quality of Pingliang red cattle and Simmental cattle, and performed a correlation analysis with the growth and development of their offspring. Our study showed that during lactation, Pingliang red cattle had significantly higher IL-6 levels than Simmental cattle, while the latter exhibited higher levels of immune factors such as IgG, IgA, IgM, IL-1β, and TNFα. The analysis of the intestinal microbiota of lactating cows found that Pingliang red cattle were rich in and , while Simmental cattle had a higher proportion of Actinobacteria.

The transmission cycle is complex, involving multiple vector and host species, but there are significant gaps in ecological knowledge. Empirical data on pathogen-vector-host interactions and incrimination have not been updated since the last century, despite significant local changes in land use and the expansion of KFD to new areas.

In this study, I report an unexpected case of a Holstein calf that developed horns even though the sire was homozygous and the dam was heterozygous for polledness. After verifying and confirming the correct parentage, the parents and offspring were genotyped with the Illumina EuroG_MD BeadChip and the SNPs in the polled region on chromosome 1 were evaluated. In addition, the father was sequenced with next generation sequencing to identify possible, previously unknown variants.
