Statement Of Problem: Harmony between prostheses and periodontal tissues is essential. The presence of a fixed prosthesis has been reported to increase the risk of periodontal lesion onset in abutment teeth and to affect longevity. However, studies comparing the supragingival plaque biofilm on fixed prostheses and natural teeth are lacking.

This study aimed to investigate the effect of tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) on the prognosis of children and adolescents with intermediate- or high-risk high-grade mature B-cell nonHodgkin lymphoma (HG B-NHL) . This study collected the clinical data and prognosis of 283 patients aged <18 years with newly diagnosed intermediate- or high-risk HG B-NHL treated at the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center from January 2010 to December 2022. The clinical characteristics, laboratory indicators during TLS, and prognosis of the patients were analyzed.

Loss of function in the subunits of the GTPase-activating protein (GAP) activity toward Rags-1 (GATOR1) complex, an amino-acid sensitive negative regulator of the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1), is implicated in both genetic familial epilepsies and NDDs (Baldassari et al., 2018). Previous studies have found seizure phenotypes and increased activity resulting from conditional deletion of GATOR1 function from forebrain excitatory neurons (Yuskaitis et al.

This review follows the PRISMA guidelines to provide a systematic review of 115 peer reviewed articles that used non-targeted analysis (NTA) methods to detect per- and polyfluoroalkylated substances (PFAS). This literature highlights the significant positive impact of NTA in understanding PFAS in the environment. Within the literature a geographical bias exists, with most NTA studies (∼60 %) conducted in the United States and China.

This study investigated the protective effect of arachidonic acid (ARA) against the allograft-induced stress response in Pinctada fucata martensii by characterizing pearl production traits and changes in genes and lipids during postoperative care. Survival and pearl production traits were higher in the ARA treatment group (ARAG) than in the control group (CG). There were 1536 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in CG-1d vs ARAG-1d and 833 DEGs in CG-3d vs ARAG-3d.
