Spatial neglect, a frequent consequence of stroke, is one of the invisible disabilities. Affected patients may, for example, ignore an object in their field of vision (visual neglect), fail to use the contralesional arm (motor neglect), or try to stand up on their own despite a severe motor deficit (anosognosia). These behaviors can be detrimental to the care relationship if they are not understood by professionals.

Objective: Self-stigma means internalizing negative beliefs and attitudes associated with stigmatized identity. This study aimed to translate and validate the Malay and Chinese versions of the Epilepsy Self-Stigma Scale (ESSS).

Methods: The Epilepsy Self-Stigma Scale was translated into the Malay (ESSS-M) and Chinese versions (ESSS-C) according to standard principles and were tested in 100 Malay and 100 Chinese-speaking people with epilepsy (PWE) respectively.

Research shows that young adults with intellectual disabilities struggle to understand the social codes embedded in sexual situations. This may lead to an incomprehension of sexual consent, or when consenting to sex may lead to abuse. This qualitative study aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of sexual experiences and perceptions about sexual consent among Swedish young adults with intellectual disabilities.

Background: The Primary Sjögren's Syndrome Quality of Life questionnaire (PSS-QoL) is the first specific instrument to assess health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in Sjögren's disease (SjD). The aim is to translate and cross-culturally adapt the PSS-QoL into Brazilian Portuguese and to evaluate its psychometric properties.

Methods: The original English version was translated into Brazilian Portuguese by two native Brazilians who were proficient in the English language.
