Fermentation experiments using Aspergillus niger result in a very viscous broth due to the growth of filamentous microorganism. For viscous fermentation processes, it is difficult to estimate with confidence the volumetric oxygen mass transfer coefficient (K(L)a), which can be used for scale-up or design of bioreactors. In the present study, four methods based on dynamic and stationary approaches were used to measure K(L)a throughout the fermentation. Data reconciliation was used to obtain a more reliable and consistent K(L)a. The K(L)a value obtained by a data reconciliation technique was found to be more reliable since it takes into consideration both the reliability of all measured variables and the accuracy of all mass balance equations.

The MaschinenBauIndustrie Knowledge Graph (MBI-KG) is a structured and semantically enriched dataset extracted from the 1937 publication "Die Maschinen-Industrie im Deutschen Reich" (The Machinery Industry in the German Reich), published by the "Wirtschaftsgruppe Maschinenbau" and edited by Herbert Patschan. This historical source offers data on German companies within the mechanical engineering industry during the pre-World War II era. The book was digitized, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) was applied to extract text.

Background: Reporting serious adverse events (SAEs) is crucial to reduce or avoid toxicities that can lead to major consequences for patient's health due to treatments tested in clinical trials. Its exhaustiveness is often inadequate, and we observe discrepancies between data published by pharmacovigilance organizations and clinical databases.
Objectives: While the process of reconciliation aims at reducing these differences, it remains a very time-consuming and imprecise task.
Background: Functional somatic syndromes are common in primary care and represent a challenge for general practitioners (GPs), with a risk of deterioration in the doctor-patient relationship, and of compassion fatigue on the part of the physician. Little is known about how to teach better management of these symptoms.
Methods: The aim of our scientific team was to develop a training session about functional somatic syndromes for GPs, with the objective to improve the therapeutic attitude of the participants.

Objective: To know job satisfaction, work-family balance, sleep quality, and burnout in nursing staff after the introduction of the 12-h rotating shift in the emergency department of a tertiary hospital.
Method: Cross-sectional observational design carried out in February 2023 for the first collection (T1) and October 2023 for the second collection (T2) in emergency nursing staff. Sociodemographic data, work and family reconciliation, job satisfaction, degree of burnout, and sleep quality were collected.

Introduction: Medication errors occur at any point of the medication management process and are a major cause of death and harm globally. The perioperative environment introduces challenges in identifying medication errors due to the frequent use of time-sensitive, high-alert medications in a dynamic and intricate setting. Pharmacists could potentially reduce the occurrence of these errors because of their training and expertise.
