Arene complexes of the form TpM(pi-acid)(L)(eta2-arene) (Tp = hydridotris(pyrazolyl)borate, M = Re, Mo, or W, pi-acid = CO or NO, L = 1-alkylimidazole, pyridine, PMe3, arene is prochiral) exist as a dynamic equilibrium of coordination diastereomers in solution. In both crystalline and amorphous solid states, however, only one diastereomer is present. Reactions on the bound arenes in these complexes have been performed stereoselectively, by exploiting the homomorphic nature of the solid phase.

The idea supporting the investigation of the current manuscript was to develop customized filters for air conditioners with different pore percentages and geometry with the additional advantage of presenting antibacterial performance. This property was expected due to the reinforcement of Cu nanoparticles in the polymeric matrix of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and polyurethane (TPU). The filaments were characterized by their chemical composition, thermal and mechanical properties, and antibacterial behavior before and after processing by fused filament fabrication.

This study investigates the effects of negative bias temperature (NBT) stress and irradiation on the threshold voltage () of p-channel VDMOS transistors, focusing on degradation, recovery after each type of stress, and operational behavior under varying conditions. Shifts in (Δ) were analyzed under different stress orders, showing distinct influence mechanisms, including defects creation and their removal and electrochemical reactions. Recovery data after each type of stress indicated ongoing electrochemical processes, influencing subsequent stress responses.

Concrete is widely used in building construction, civil engineering, roads, bridges, etc., but concrete cracking remains a major issue in the engineering industry. To develop an effective and feasible concrete repair technology, this study combined microbial and microencapsulation technologies to prepare a multi-layer compound microcapsule using the piercing method.

Covalent-organic frameworks (COFs) are dynamic covalent porous organic materials constructed from emissive molecular organic building blocks. However, most two-dimensional (2D) COFs are nonemissive or weakly emissive in the solid state owing to the intramolecular rotation and vibration together with strong π-π interactions. Herein, we report a pressure strategy to achieve the bright multicolor emission from yellow to red in the 2D triazine triphenyl imine COF (TTI-COF).

Lattice distortion and disorder in the chemical environment of magnetic atoms within high-entropy compounds present intriguing issues in the modulation of magnetic functional compounds. However, the complexity inherent in high-entropy disordered systems has resulted in a relative scarcity of comprehensive investigations exploring the magnetic functional mechanisms of these alloys. Herein, we investigate the magnetocaloric effect (MCE) of the high-entropy intermetallic compound GdTbDyHoErCo.
