We compared the cost-effectiveness of gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel (GnP) and modified FOLFIRINOX (mFFX)-standard first-line treatments for metastatic pancreatic cancer in Japan. In this study, we report the case of a patient with triple-negative breast cancer who achieved a pathological complete response(pCR)following neoadjuvant chemotherapy but experienced early recurrence and had a poor prognosis. A 46-year-old woman with a diagnosis of triple-negative breast cancer(cT2cN3cM0, cStage ⅢC)received neoadjuvant chemotherapy with dose-dense doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide, followed by weekly paclitaxel. The patient underwent a mastectomy and axillary lymph node dissection, achieving pCR.

Background: Squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN) accounts for 3% of all malignant tumors in Italy. Immune checkpoint inhibitors combined with chemotherapy is first-line treatment for SCCHN; however, second-line treatment options are limited. Taxanes are widely used for combination therapy of SCCHN, as clinical trials have shown their efficacy in patients with this disease, particularly in patients with prior therapy.
