Aim: To evaluate the efficacy of ultrasound-guided ilioinguinal and iliohypogastric nerve block (IIHB) in children undergoing surgery for inguinal hernias.
Material And Methods: PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science databases were searched to January 4, 2024. For continuous data, the effect sizes were presented as weighted mean differences (WMDs), and for categorical data, they were reported as relative ratios (RR), each accompanied by 95% confidence intervals (CIs).

To evaluate the feasibility, safety, and efficacy of the lateral single-incision laparoscopic totally extraperitoneal (L-SILTEP) approach in patients with inguinal hernia who had contraindications to the midline approach. This study included 58 patients who underwent L-SILTEP. Data on their baseline characteristics and perioperative details were collected.

Background: Surgical site infections (SSIs) are a common cause of patient morbidity, hospital readmission, and reoperation after lower extremity bypass (LEBs) surgery for chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI). Recent studies on the use of incisional negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) in LEB surgery have reported conflicting results. In this single-center study, we examined our experience on the impact of NPWT on groin SSI rates after LEB surgery.
