Importance: Some patients worldwide are asked to acquire an anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) agent from a pharmacy, store it, and then bring it to a physician for intravitreal injection (IVT). Anti-VEGF agents must be stored in the refrigerator to avoid bacterial contamination or denaturation. Some cases of severe intraocular inflammation have been reported following IVT of more recently approved anti-VEGF agents, which might be explained by thermal instability.

Essential oil of Schott (ATEO) have significant biological activity, but their physical and chemical properties are unstable and susceptible to interference by external factors, resulting in oxidation, decomposition, and isomerization of essential oils (EOs), ultimately diminishing the quality of EOs and escalating clinical risks. In this research, based on the concept of " combination of medicine and adjuvant, " the unsuitable stabilizer in Lingzhu powder prescription was modified with a SiO surface to become a stabilizer suitable for Pickering emulsion. The modified was synthesized, with a focus on exploring the surface modification of to facilitate its role as a stabilizer in Pickering emulsion.

Typhimurium is a foodborne pathogen threatening livestock and human health. It is highly resistant to commonly used clinical antibiotics, and it is urgently needed to explore new anti- treatment schemes. In this study, first, our mouse experiments showed that Baitouweng decoction (BTW), a classical Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) prescription, had good efficacy against Typhimurium infection: mitigating weight loss of mice; lowering the bacterial load of liver, spleen, and colon; reducing the production of serum inflammatory factors (interleukin-1β and tumor necrosis factor-α); and decreasing histological index scores than that in the Typhimurium infection group.
