Precise segmentation of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-captured images plays a vital role in tasks such as crop yield estimation and plant health assessment in banana plantations. By identifying and classifying planted areas, crop areas can be calculated, which is indispensable for accurate yield predictions. However, segmenting banana plantation scenes requires a substantial amount of annotated data, and manual labeling of these images is both timeconsuming and labor-intensive, limiting the development of large-scale datasets.

The prepared foods sector has grown rapidly in recent years, driven by the fast pace of modern living and increasing consumer demand for convenience. Prepared foods are taking an increasingly important role in the modern catering industry due to their ease of storage, transportation, and operation. However, their processing faces several challenges, including labor shortages, inefficient sorting, inadequate cleaning, unsafe cutting processes, and a lack of industry standards.

Computed tomography (CT) scans play a key role in the diagnosis of stroke, a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. However, interpreting these scans is often challenging, necessitating automated solutions for timely and accurate diagnosis. This research proposed a novel hybrid model that integrates a Vision Transformer (ViT) and a Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) to accurately detect and classify stroke characteristics using CT images.

Natural products (NPs) continue to serve as an invaluable source in drug discovery, and peripheral evolution of NPs is a highly efficient evolution strategy. Herein, we describe a unified "methyl to amide" peripheral evolution of Tanshinone IIA and Cryptotanshinone for discovery of NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitors. There were 54 compounds designed and prepared, while the chemoinformatic analysis revealed that these evolved NP analogues occupy a unique chemical space.

Mental imagery is claimed to underlie a host of abilities, such as episodic memory, working memory, and decision-making. A popular view holds that mental imagery relies on the perceptual system and that it can be said to be 'vision in reverse'. Whereas vision exploits the bottom-up neural pathways of the visual system, mental imagery exploits the top-down neural pathways.
