Purpose: Laparoscopic partial nephrectomy represents a feasible option for patients with small renal masses. We describe our initial experience with laparoscopic partial nephrectomy in cold ischemia achieved by renal artery perfusion.
Materials And Methods: From November 2001 to March 2003 laparoscopic partial nephrectomy in cold ischemia was performed in 15 patients with renal cell carcinoma. Cold ischemia was achieved by continuous perfusion of Ringers lactate at 4C through the renal artery, which was clamped. Tumor excision was performed in a bloodless field with biopsy taken from the tumor bed. The collecting system was repaired if needed. Renal reconstruction was performed by suturing over hemostatic bolsters.
Results: All procedures were successfully completed laparoscopically by our new technique. Mean operative time was 185 minutes (range 135 to 220). Mean ischemia time was 40 minutes (range 27 to 101). Estimated mean intraoperative blood loss was 160 ml (range 30 to 650). Entry to the collecting system in 6 patients was repaired intraoperatively. Additional vascular repair was done in 2 patients. There were no significant postoperative complications. Postoperative followup in 8 patients showed that the renal parenchyma was not damaged by the ischemic period.
Conclusions: Our initial experience of incorporating cold ischemia via arterial perfusion into laparoscopic partial nephrectomy shows the feasibility and safety of the technique. We believe that this approach has the potential to make laparoscopic partial nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma safe and reliable.

Objective: We investigated the impact of intraoperative tumor capsule injury (TCI) during robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RAPN) or laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (LPN) on oncological outcomes, as well as underlying factors of intraoperative TCI for improving surgical outcomes.
Methods: A total of 253 patients who underwent RAPN or LPN between 2010 and 2022 were retrospectively analyzed and were divided into two groups: non-TCI and TCI groups. The background was compared between two groups.

Background: The rapid advancement of minimally invasive surgical techniques has made laparoscopy a preferred alternative because it reduces postoperative complications. However, inflating the peritoneum with CO2 causes a cranial shift of the diaphragm decreasing lung volume and impairing gas exchange. Additionally, CO2 absorption increases blood CO2 levels, further complicating mechanical ventilation when the lung function is already compromised.

Introduction: Gastric glomus tumor is a rare submucosal mesenchymal tumor with no distinct features on endoscopy. In clinical practice, it is often treated with laparoscopic partial gastrectomy. Here, we report a case of gastric glomus tumor successfully resected using a combination of gastroscopy and laparoscopy.

Objectives: In this study, we aimed to compare the efficacy of two regional anesthesia methods, transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block and erector spinae plane (ESP) block, for intraoperative and postoperative pain relief in patients undergoing laparoscopic nephrectomy.
Methods: Fifty patients aged 18-80 years with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification I-II scheduled for elective laparoscopic nephrectomy were included after ethical approval and informed consent. Patients were randomly assigned to either Group TAP (receiving TAP block) or Group ESP (receiving ESP block).

Objectives: To explore the experience of tumor control technique in robot-assisted laparoscopic bladder diverticulectomy (RALBD) in the treatment of bladder diverticulum tumor, intraoperative tumor control and postoperative comprehensive treatment.
Patients And Methods: We treated three male patients with bladder diverticulum tumors. Case 1 involved a 63-year-old with a 3.
