First experience of laparoscopic operations performance in children in the Zhytomir region was suggested as well as the advantages of laparoscopy, method of "open laparoscopy", variant of assisted laparoscopy and laparotomy under laparoscopic control. The analysis of results of laparoscopic interventions in 205 children, 36--emergent and 169--planned, was conducted.
