Objective: To investigate the main clinical characteristics and genetic analysis of rare chromosome aberration in peripheral blood.

Methods: Peripheral blood cells were cultured for 72 hours with routine method and slids performed, and then the slide was read and mode analysis was carried out. The diagnostic standard of rare chromosomal aberation was: 1-2 abnormal kary types were found in every 30, 60, 200 mitotic phass.

Results: The main clinical characteristics of 52 cases of individual chromosomal aberation in peripheral blood included: 1. spontaneous abortion; 2. abnormal sex development; 3. reproduction diseases; and 4. morbid and deformity.

Conclusion: Rare chromosomal aberation should be regarded as chromosomal diseases. Prenatal diagnosis is necessary for people with such chromosomal aberation in their reproductive actions.

The effect of the fungicide Euparen Multi (containing 50% tolylfluanid) was investigated on the induction of chromosomal aberrations (CA) in cultured bovine peripheral lymphocytes. Cultures from two healthy donors were treated with tolylfluanid-based fungicide at concentrations ranging from 1.7 to 17.

Precursor T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (T-ALL)/lymphoma (T-LBL) is a neoplasm with cytological features that include blast cells of medium size, high nuclear cytoplasmic ratio and inconspicuous nucleoli, which are usually TdT (Terminal Deoxynucleotidyl Transferase) positive and variably express T-cell markers. We report a case of T-ALL with atypical cytological presentation which showed lymphoblasts with homogenous nuclear pattern, larger amounts of cytoplasm with vacuoles and prominent nucleoli. A 56-year-old male was hospitalized due to high fever and kidney infection.

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a synthetic monomer widely used to polymerize polycarbonate plastics and resins. It is shown in vitro to interfere with microtubules, producing aberations in mitotic and meiotic spindles. An increase of meiotic abnormalities in untreated female mice from an experimental colony was temporally correlated with the accidental release of BPA from polycarbonate cages and bottles damaged by inadvertent treatment with harsh alkaline detergents [P.

Chromosomal changes are necessary in determining the classification, prognosis and using the appropriate therapeutic regimen in acute leukemia. Isochromosomes are uncommon chromosome aberations in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and the effect of i(9q) is not well established. We present an 8-year-old male case of pre-B ALL who has an unusual course at diagnosis.

Mercury and its derivatives have become an alarming environmental problem, necessitating the search for effective antagonists, including homeopathic drugs, which are generally used in micro doses and are devoid of any palpable side-effects. On the basis of homeopathic similia principle, two potencies of Mercurius solubilis (Merc Sol-30 and Merc Sol-200) were tested by three administrative modes, i.e.
