Family caregivers of individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID) face numerous challenges in long-term planning, which have been exacerbated amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Specific triggers raise awareness of future planning needs, but barriers like painful emotions and exhaustion often impede the process. This study aimed to explore Hong Kong (HK) caregivers' perspectives on long-term planning for family members with ID at the later period of the pandemic.

Several challenges to validity have been identified with standard approaches used to measure "demand satisfied for modern methods of family planning." This study explored construct validity of the widely used indicator for "demand satisfied" by comparing the standard definition to alternative definitions of the indicator highlighting dimensions of women's own perceived demand, choice, and satisfaction. This cross-sectional study of women aged 15-49 years was conducted in Argentina (n = 1492), Ghana (n = 1600), and India (n = 1702) using a two-staged random sampling design.

Advance care planning(ACP)was officially incorporated into Japan's healthcare system in 2018 with the revision of the "Guidelines for the Decision-Making Process in End-of-Life Care"by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. This revision mandated that the government designated cancer hospitals and comprehensive community care wards establish systems for implementing ACP. Consequently, the implementation and promotion of ACP have become significant issues in the healthcare field.
