Cell therapies as treatments for neonatal conditions have attracted significant research and parent interest over the last two decades. Mesenchymal stromal cells, umbilical cord blood cells and neural stem cells translate from lab, to preclinical and into clinical trials, with contributions being made from all over the world. Effective and timely translation involves frequent reflection and consultation from research-adjacent fields (i.

Introduction: Between 2021 and 2023, a project was funded in order to explore the mortality burden (YLL-Years of Life Lost, excess mortality) of COVID-19 in Southern and Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.
Methods: For each national or sub-national region, data on COVID-19 deaths and population data were collected for the period March 2020 to December 2021. Unstandardized and age-standardised YLL rates were calculated according to standard burden of disease methodology.

Background: There have been many modelled studies of potential health co-benefits from actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but so far there have been no large-scale attempts to compare the magnitude of health and climate effects across sectors, countries, and study designs.
Methods: As part of the Pathfinder Initiative project an umbrella review of studies was done, and 26 previous reviews were identified with 57 primary studies included. Studies included in the review were required to have quantified changes in greenhouse gas emissions and health effects (or risk factors) from defined actions to reduce climate effects.

Rationale: Azelastine HCl is a second-generation H -receptor antagonist approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for treating seasonal allergic rhinitis and non-allergic vasomotor rhinitis. This study encompasses the validation of a liquid chromatography-ultra violet photo diode array (LC-UV/PDA) method for the drug and its extension to liquid chromatography/quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC-Q/TOF-MS) studies for identification and characterization of various stress degradation products of the drug.
Methods: Stress degradation of azelastine HCl was undertaken under the International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH) prescribed conditions of hydrolytic, photolytic, oxidative, and thermal stress.

Whilst simulating crop performance in different environments can help fill the knowledge gap and improve the adoption of crops that are currently neglected and underutilised in conventional agrifood systems, lack of experimental data remains a barrier to widespread modelling of these crops. To date, no attempt has been made to collate sub-species crop data that are specifically suited for modelling underutilised crops. This article describes the first attempt to develop a database for crop modelling data with a focus on European underutilised crops.
