Mass-participation sports events (MPSEs) are of significant value to the fields of sports, culture, and tourism. MPSEs have witnessed a remarkable surge in popularity, which has led to a complex interplay of factors influencing participants' overall experience, making it crucial to understand the role of embodied behaviour. However, the existing literature is deficient in terms of providing substantial evidence, particularly with regard to the growing significance of experience planning as a core aspect of event design.

To compare the efficacy and safety of postauricular injection (PI) and intratympanic injection (II) of glucocorticoids (GC) in the initial treatment of sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SHL). Electronic databases retrieval (PubMed, Web of Science, CNKI, VIP, WANFANG) was performed to identify all randomized controlled trials about PI and II of GC in the initial treatment of SHL between 2015 and 2024. Meta-analysis was performed on the studies met the inclusion criteria by RevMan5.

Cholestatic liver disease (CLD) represents a significant and growing public health concern, and there is a lack of effective therapeutic drug in clinical practice. Peroxisome proliferator-activator receptors α/δ (PPARα/δ) are regarded as potential therapeutic targets for CLD. In this study, a series of novel imidazolidinone PPARα/δ agonists were developed, and the preferred compound 8 displayed potent and well-balanced agonistic activity.

Electrospinning is a remarkably straightforward and adaptable technique that can be employed to process an array of synthetic and natural materials, resulting in the production of nanoscale fibers. It has emerged as a novel technique for biomedical applications and has gained increasing popularity in the research community in recent times. In the context of tissue repair and tissue engineering, there is a growing tendency toward the integration of biomimetic scaffolds and bioactive macromolecules, particularly proteins and growth factors.

Systemic administration of methotrexate (MTX), widely regarded as one of the most effective treatments for psoriasis, poses significant challenges due to its high toxicity, limited solubility, and potential for adverse effects. Consequently, developing a topical form of MTX may offer a safer and more effective strategy for psoriasis management. Silk fibroin (SF), a protein-based biomacromolecule, has shown considerable promise as a nanocarrier for sustained and targeted drug delivery, owing to its exceptional physicochemical and biological properties.
