Published: March 2004

The internal stump length, head mass and head shape of doubled haploid (DH) lines and their F1 hybrids of head cabbage Kamienna Głowa were compared. It was found that the range of variation in the investigated traits of DH lines was higher than that of their F1 hybrids. The head mass of the DH lines indicated some level of inbreeding depression, but their F1 hybrids showed a significant effect of heterosis. Genes responsible for flattened head shape were dominant over rounded shape genes. The longer internal stump trait was dominant over the shorter one.

Introduction: Salvage arthroplasty for failed proximal femoral fracture fixation is a complex procedure. This involves the removal of the primary failed or broken implant followed by a hip joint replacement procedure. The complications and technical difficulties associated with these surgeries are often difficult to anticipate.

Background: Plasma cell myeloma (PCM) is a common adult hematological neoplasm of terminally differentiated B-cells resulting in accumulation of monoclonal plasma cells. PCM is heterogeneous disease with survival time varies from months to years, determined by age, stage, cytogenetics abnormalities, and treatment response. There is conflicting evidence in role of immunophenotype as a prognostic indicator.

In clustered cognitive radio sensor networks (CRSNs), availability of free channels, spectrum sensing and energy utilization during clustering and cluster head (CH) selection is essential for fairness of time and event-driven data traffic. The existing multi-hop routing protocols in CRSNs generally adopt a perfect spectrum sensing which is not same in the practical spectrum sensing of nodes in real networks. High imbalance in residual energy between the selected CHs negatively impacts the delivery of data packets.

College of Computer Science and Engineering, Guangxi Normal University, Guilin, 541000, China.

In today's competitive market environment, accurately identifying potential churn customers and taking effective retention measures are crucial for improving customer retention and ensuring the sustainable development of an organization. However, traditional machine learning algorithms and single deep learning models have limitations in extracting complex nonlinear and time-series features, resulting in unsatisfactory prediction results. To address this problem, this study proposes a hybrid neural network-based customer churn prediction model, CCP-Net.
