Purpose: This study aims to systematically evaluate all radionuclides used in knee RSV to date and identify the most suitable radionuclide for knee RSV.
Methods: To compare knee RSV with Y-90, P-32, Ho-166, Re-188, Au-198, Lu-177, Sm-153, and Re-186, we measured the radiation dose to non-target organs and the inducing of secondary malignancies in knee RSV patient, the radiation dose to family member and medical staff from the knee RSV patients, and the quality of post-treatment images.
Results: The Lifetime Attributable Risks of cancer incidence and mortality and the Relative Risks of solid cancer incidence and mortality are significantly higher for Y-90 and P-32 in both adult and pediatric patients compared to other radionuclides used in knee RSV.

Introduction: Radiosynovectomy (RS), which uses beta particle-emitting radiocolloids, has proven highly effective in significantly reducing the occurrence of haemarthroses and breaking the cycle of bleeding and synovitis. This study now presents the long-term outcomes of repeated RS in individuals with haemophilia.
Materials And Methods: Repeated RS was administered to 48 joints in 37 people with haemophilia (PwHs) diagnosed with chronic haemophilic synovitis.

Introduction Pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS) or giant cell tumour of the tendon sheath (GCTT) is a rare disorder involving the proliferation of the synovium in any joint; however, the knee, hip, and ankle joints are most commonly targeted. The aim of this study is to follow the short-term outcomes of the treatment of patients with PVNS of the knee managed by intra-articular injection of yttrium-90 or radiosynovectomy (RS) alone and a combination of RS and arthroscopic/open debulking synovectomy. Methods A cohort of eight knees from six patients was included in this study, including three knees treated with combined arthroscopic synovectomy and RS, and five knees treated with RS alone.

Introduction: To describe the therapeutic efficacy of radiosynoviorthesis with [Y]Yttrium citrate (Y), in patients with chronic knee synovitis refractory to systemic treatments and/or infiltrations, correlating the results with the different etiologies and degenerative changes that they showed, in order to optimize the indication of the technique.
Material And Methods: Observational retrospective study with 32 patients (22 men and 10 women) and 34 knees, with refractory chronic knee synovitis, who underwent radiosynoviorthesis between January 2013 and December 2022. Its efficacy was described and analyzed by the subjective improvement referred by the patients and its relationship with the existing etiologies and radiological degenerative changes, expressed by the Kellgren-Lawrence (K-L) scale.
