Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) has high incidence and mortality rates, with severe prognoses during invasion and metastasis stages. Despite advancements in diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, the impact of the tumour microenvironment, particularly extracellular matrix (ECM) stiffness, on CRC progression and metastasis is not fully understood.
Methods: This study included 107 CRC patients.

Objective: The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate the current evidence on the significance of the loss of early stages of oral carcinogenesis in lesions diagnosed according to clinical and/or histopathological criteria and their evolution to oral cancer.
Materials And Methods: We searched MEDLINE (through PubMed), Embase, Scopus and Web of Science for primary-level studies published before November 2024, designed as prospective or retrospective longitudinal cohorts, and not restricted by language or publication date. The risk of bias was critically assessed using the QUIPS tool.

However, its poor pharmacokinetic profile limits the translational utility. Parkinson's disease (PD) is a heterogeneous neurodegenerative disorder with a wide range of clinical phenotypes. Pathologically, it is characterized by neuronal inclusions containing misfolded, fibrillar alpha-synuclein (aSyn). Prion-like properties of aSyn contribute to the spread of aSyn pathology throughout the nervous system as the disease progresses.

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) pneumonia is an uncommon presentation of CMV among patients with HIV/AIDS, particularly in co-infection with pneumonia (PCP). A case was reported with a literature review, and a comprehensive literature search was performed using the PubMed/MEDLINE and Scopus databases. We report a 52-year-old male with AIDS presenting with progressively worsening dyspnea over 1 week.
