Background: Preventure is a selective school-based personality-targeted program that has shown long-term benefits in preventing student alcohol use, internalising and externalising problems when delivered by psychologists. Objective: Guardian Caps (GCs) have been widely implemented at all levels of American football participation based on laboratory evidence that they may reduce head impact forces. The purpose of this study was to determine if GC use during practice was associated with a lower risk of sport-related concussion (SRC) during practices and games among high school football players.

Background: Grape (Vitis vinifera) crops encounter significant challenges in overcoming bud endodormancy in warm winter areas worldwide. Research on the mechanisms governing bud dormancy release has focused primarily on stress regulation; however, cell wall regulation of bud meristem regrowth mechanism during the dormancy release remains obscure.
Results: In this study, transmission electron microscopy revealed significant changes in the grape bud cell wall following hydrogen cyanamide (HC) treatment, accompanied by an increase in β-1,3-glucanase activity.
