Objective: Severe community-acquired pneumonia (sCAP) is one of the major diseases within the ICU. We hypothesize that subtyping sCAP based on simple inflammatory markers, organ dysfunction, and clinical metagenomics results is feasible.

Method: In this study, we retrospectively enrolled immunocompetent sCAP patients requiring invasive mechanical ventilation, who underwent clinical metagenomics from 17 medical centers.

The Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) Cancer Expert Panel is made up of physicians from the disciplines of radiology, medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, family medicine/general practitioner oncology, a patient advisor, and an epidemiologist/guideline methodologist. The Expert Panel developed a list of 29 clinical/diagnostic scenarios, of which 16 pointed to other CAR guidelines. A rapid scoping review was undertaken to identify systematically produced referral guidelines that provide recommendations for one or more of the remaining 13 scenarios.

This case report presents the details of an elderly man in Zhejiang Province of China, who tested human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) negative and subsequently developed Nodal Marginal Zone Lymphoma (NMZL) along with disseminated infection. The study focuses on analyzing the distinct clinical symptoms and pathological manifestations in order to offer precise diagnosis and effective treatment for patients. A 76-year-old male patient was admitted to our hospital due to recurrent fever.
