d-Limonene is the predominant component of essential oil from Exocarpium Citri Grandis, known for its antibacterial, antioxidant, insecticidal, and anti-inflammatory properties. The synthesis, transport, and accumulation of d-limonene in Citrus grandis 'Tomentosa' fruits are regulated by limonene synthase (LS) and its associated regulatory genes. This study addresses the gap in understanding the spatiotemporal cytological changes of LS and its regulatory genes.

Public concern about the effects of pesticides on non-target organisms has increased in the recent years. Nevertheless, there is a limited number of studies that address the actual toxic effects of herbicides on insects. This study investigated the side effects of herbicides on non-target organisms inhabiting agroecosystems and performing essential ecological and economic functions such as crop pollination.

The dried pseudobulbs of , an important traditional Chinese medicine named , have an extraordinary polysaccharide content and excellent prospects for medicinal effects. However, the distribution and molecular mechanism underlying biosynthesis are poorly understood. In this study, chemical and immunologic analyses were performed in representative tissues of , and the results showed that what are conventionally termed polysaccharides (BSPs) are water-soluble polysaccharides deposited only in pseudobulbs.

Telangiectatic osteosarcoma is a rare variant of osteosarcoma histologically and clinically similar to hemangiosarcoma (HSA). This case series describes the imaging and cytologic features of four histologically confirmed telangiectatic osteosarcomas, including the use of cytochemical stains. Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) was applied to Wright-Giemsa-stained cytology slides, and Factor VIII immunohistochemistry was evaluated.

Currently, the assessment of immune status in patients with COVID-19 is limited to determining the count of polymorphonuclear leukocytes and the phagocytic function of neutrophils, which is insufficient to understand the regulatory role of innate immunity cells in the development of pneumonia. However, no such studies have been conducted in pregnant women with COVID-19. The aim of this study was to investigate the functional state of neutrophil granulocytes in order to identify predictors of pneumonia severity risk in pregnant women with COVID-19.
