The rising prevalence of myopia is a significant global health concern. Atropine eye drops are commonly used to slow myopia progression in children, but their long-term use raises concern about intraocular pressure (IOP). This study uses SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) to improve the interpretability of machine learning (ML) model predicting end IOP, offering clinicians explainable insights for personalized patient management.

Background: Inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) are recommended treatment for mild asthma. We aimed to update the evidence on the efficacy and safety of ICS-containing regimens, leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRA), and tiotropium relative to as-needed (AN) short-acting β2-agonists (SABA) in children (aged 6-11 years) and adolescents/adults.
Methods: A systematic review of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of regular and AN treatment for mild asthma was conducted (CRD42022352384).

Background: Heterotaxia is characterized by an abnormal positioning of the thoracic and/or abdominal organs, resulting in various physiological and hemodynamic implications. Congenital heart disease involves structural irregularities in the heart or major vessels within the chest, leading to functional challenges.
Case Presentation: We present a 26-year-old Arab female patient with a complex medical history involving heterotaxy, dextrocardia, congenital heart disease, and ureteropelvic junction obstruction diagnosed in her first year of life, followed by the identification of endometriosis in her early twenties.
