As many as 123 patients with chronic obstructive bronchitis (COB) were examined. Myocardial contractility was estimated by echocardiography. The data obtained indicate that in COB patients, the contractility of the right and left heart is disordered. The level of systolic pressure in the pulmonary artery did not exceed 45 mm Hg in COB patients and cannot be the cause of the overload of the right heart. The decrease of left ventricular contractility is not associated with the concomitant pathology of the cardiovascular system. The causes of myocardial contractility disorders in COB patients remain unclear.

Objectives: To compare effectiveness of tofacitinib versus tumor necrosis factor inhibitors (TNFi), and across tofacitinib lines of therapy, in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), using US CorEvitas RA Registry data.
Methods: Analysis included patients with RA initiating tofacitinib or TNFi with a 12-month follow-up visit between November 2012-February 2021. Primary (Clinical Disease Activity Index-defined low disease activity [CDAI-LDA: CDAI ≤ 10]) and secondary (clinical/disease activity/patient-reported) effectiveness outcomes were assessed at month 12.

Objective: Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-PET/CT has shown considerable promise in the evaluation of prostate cancer bone metastases; however, data utilizing a histopathologic reference standard in this setting are limited. We therefore sought to evaluate the diagnostic performance of PSMA-PET/CT using a consistent histopathologic gold standard in the form of bone biopsy.
Materials And Methods: In this single-center, retrospective study, we identified 80 patients with prostate cancer who underwent CT-guided bone biopsy of a tracer-avid osseous lesion on PSMA-PET/CT performed with F-piflufolastat.

Nurses play a crucial role in the adoption and continued use of Electronic Health Records (EHRs), especially in developing countries. Existing literature scarcely addresses how personality traits and organisational support influence nurses' decision to persist with EHR use in these regions. This study developed a model combining the Five-Factor Model (FFM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) to explore the impact of personality traits and organisational support on nurses' continuance intention to use EHR systems.

Exploring and establishing a consensus on palatal surgery, the outcomes and follow-up after the palatal surgery, the complications of palatal surgery, and the post-operative management after palatal surgery for snoring and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) among sleep surgeons is critical in the surgical management of patients with such conditions. Using the Delphi method, a set of statements was developed based on the literature and circulated among a panel of eight European experts. Responses included agreeing and disagreeing with each statement, and the comments were used to assess the level of consensus and to develop a revised version.
