Introduction: The healthy aging of older adults in dual-older adult communities is influenced by multiple factors, and understanding its underlying mechanisms can promote healthy aging among the older adults in a wide range of developing countries. This comprehensive study delves into the intricate interplay between multifaceted built environmental factors, and their direct and indirect effects on the successful AIP residing in double-aging neighborhoods.
Methods: Applying a series of HLM, the research meticulously explores the intricate links between SAIP and multi-scale aging spaces, including home space, community social participation, and built environments.

Introduction: Chronic inflammation leading to implant failure present major challenges in orthopedics, dentistry, and reconstructive surgery. Titanium alloys, while widely used, often provoke inflammatory complications. Zinc-doped calcium phosphate (CaP) coatings offer potential to enhance implant integration by improving corrosion resistance, bioactivity, and immunocompatibility.

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate frontal sinus volume as a potential indicator of cranial compensatory growth in unoperated normocephalic nonsyndromic sagittal craniosynostosis (NNSC) patients compared with age-matched and sex-matched controls. Previous studies have suggested that frontal sinus volume is suppressed in unoperated craniosynostosis and may be an intracranial space conservation phenomenon.
Methods: Head computed tomographies (CTs) from 22 unoperated NNSC patients at our institution were utilized in this study and matched with age-matched and sex-matched control subjects.

Postmitotic skeletal muscle critically depends on tightly regulated protein degradation to maintain proteomic stability. Impaired macroautophagy/autophagy-lysosomal or ubiquitin-proteasomal protein degradation causes the accumulation of damaged proteins, ultimately accelerating muscle dysfunction with age. While studies have demonstrated the complementary nature of these systems, their interplay at the organism levels remains poorly understood.

Cortical thickness analyses have provided valuable insights into changes in cortical brain structure after stroke and their association with recovery. Across studies though, relationships between cortical structure and function show inconsistent results. Recent developments in diffusion-weighted imaging of the cortex have paved the way to uncover hidden aspects of stroke-related alterations in cortical microstructure, going beyond cortical thickness as a surrogate for cortical macrostructure.
