Background: Brain tumors are the deadliest solid tumors in children and adolescents. Most of these tumors are glial in origin and exhibit strong heterogeneity, hampering the development of effective therapeutic strategies. In the past decades, patient-derived tumor organoids (PDT-O) have emerged as powerful tools for modeling tumoral cell diversity and dynamics, and they could then help defining new therapeutic options for pediatric brain tumors.

Proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs) represent a transformative advancement in drug discovery, offering a method to degrade specific intracellular proteins. Unlike traditional inhibitors, PROTACs are bifunctional molecules that target proteins for elimination, enabling the potential treatment of previously "undruggable" proteins. This concept, pioneered by Crews and his team, introduced the use of small molecules to link a target protein to an E3 ubiquitin ligase, inducing ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of the target protein.

The integration of barcode technology with smartphones on paper-based analytical devices (PADs) presents a promising approach to bridging manual detection with digital interpretation and data storage. However, previous studies of 1D barcode approaches have been limited to providing only a "yes/no" response for analyte detection. Herein, a method of using barcode readout for semiquantitative signal detection on PADs has been achieved through the integration of barcode technology with a distance-based measurement concept on PADs.

Objectives: The concept of successful aging has been criticized for overlooking the experiences of older adults aging with disabilities, which may accentuate segregation and consolidate inequities. This qualitative study explored how older people living with early-onset mobility disabilities define successful aging, whether their definitions differ from those proposed by academia and from those of older people without disabilities, and to what extent older people with motor disabilities perceive themselves as aging successfully.
Method: Thirty-two people (20 women, 12 men) aged over 60 and living with motor disabilities for a minimum of 20 years were interviewed about their definition of successful aging and whether they considered that they were aging successfully.
