Rubbers prepared from technical poly(butadiene) and natural poly(isoprene) are studied by field-cycling (FC) H NMR relaxometry to elucidate the changes of the relaxation spectrum. Starting with the non-cross-linked polymer successively cross-links are introduced via sulfur or peroxide vulcanization. Applying an advanced home-built relaxometer allows one to probe entanglement dynamics in addition to Rouse dynamics.

Abnormal chromosome segregation (ACS) in preimplantation embryos causes miscarriages. For a normal pregnancy, it is necessary to reduce ACS occurrences in embryos. However, the causes of such abnormalities are unclear because no method to extract the segregated chromosomes from the blastomeres for detailed analysis.

Chemical cross-linking/mass spectrometry (XL-MS) has emerged as a complementary tool for mapping interaction sites within protein networks as well as gaining moderate-resolution native structural insight with minimal interference. XL-MS technology mostly relies on chemoselective reactions (cross-linking) between protein residues and a linker. DSSO represents a versatile cross-linker for protein structure investigation and in-cell XL-MS.

Flexible perovskite solar cells (FPSCs) are a promising emerging photovoltaic technology, with certified power conversion efficiencies reaching 24.9 %. However, the frequent occurrence of grain fractures and interface delamination raises concerns about their ability to endure the mechanical stresses caused by temperature fluctuations.

: DNA damage response (DDR) is a network of molecular pathways associated with the pathogenesis and progression of several diseases, as well as the outcome of chemotherapy. Moreover, the intracellular redox status is essential for maintaining cell viability and controlling cellular signaling. Herein, we analyzed DDR signals and redox status in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from patients with lung cancer with different response rates to platinum-based chemotherapy.
