Recently, a new molecule, kisspeptin (Kp), and in particular Kisspeptin 10 (Kp10), was implicated in stimulating the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. The aim of this study was to evaluate circulating Kp10 levels in the early post-partum period of the dairy cow. Blood samples were collected from 40 dairy cows, at 10 (T10), 12 (T12), 14 (T14) and 16 (T16) days after calving.

Objective: The concomitance of psoriasis and high IgE levels in the same patient, possibly associated to allergies, should not come as a surprise anymore, because both diseases are characterised by an immunological disorder, involving cytokines and other inflammatory mediators, with massive activation of the cell-mediated immunity.
Materials And Methods: During a period of 18 months, using a radio-immunologic method, we assessed the level of IgE in patients with severe psoriasis who were not responding to the common therapy.
Results: Patients with severe psoriasis had high levels of IgE.

The study was aimed to investigate the optimum conditions of freeze drying preservation of amniotic membrane (AM). The AM from the health puerperal woman was preserved by freeze drying at optimized way. The key factors of freeze drying process, including abstersion aqua, conservation liquor, the curve of freezing temperature, and the ingredient of protective agent, were optimized.
