The purpose of work is development and clarification of roentgenology displays of tumoroidea variant of abscess of lungs for differential diagnostics him with the cancer of lungs. Practically in most cases abscess of lungs there is a necessity of leadthrough of differential diagnostics with in a number of nosology forms, including with the cavernous form of peripheral cancer of lungs. The features of flow of roentgenologic picture of tumoroidea variant are resulted, alike symptoms, differ ences and signs which allow to set a correct diagnosis, are resulted, the value of follow-up of roent genologic research and use of computed tomography is underlined.

According to current classifications, organizing pneumonia (OP) belongs to the group of diffuse parenchymatous diseases of the lungs. Morphological picture of OP is characterized by the presence of polypoid granulation tissue consisting of proliferating fibroblasts and myofibroblasts in the gap of respiratory bronchioles. In most cases OP is idiopathic.

Clinical and roentgenologic manifestations of cancer of lung developing from residual tubercular changes in 32 patients of elderly and senile age were analysed. Clinical and roentgenologic and laboratory criteria of diagnosis of the associated process were determined. Causes of the late diagnosis of cancer of lung were disclosed; it was caused by the low level of work at the medical institution following up the patients suffering from tuberculosis and having residual changes, namely, lack of regular preventive X-ray examinations which occurs in 3/4 patients with the associated process.

The target scientific research studies the results of clinicoroentgenological examination among 100 patients with mediastinal limphomas. The most typical X-ray and CT signs were demonstrated. The investigation proves CT to be highly informative method in diagnosis of mediastinal limphomas.
