Background: Multiple myeloma (MM) results from clonal expansion of immunoglobulin secreting, heavy chain class-switched, terminally differentiated B-lymphocytes (plasma cells), resulting in radiologic or biochemical evidence of end-organ damage. Though neurological manifestations (peripheral neuropathies, spinal radiculopathies, cranial nerve palsies, and metabolic encephalopathies) can occur during the disease course, direct central nervous system (CNS) infiltration by malignant plasma cells (CNS-MM) is very rare (~1%) and has a dismal prognosis (survival of <6 months).
Methodology: Clinico-laboratory profile and outcome of CNS-MM patients diagnosed and treated at a tertiary cancer care hospital were retrospectively analyzed.

Background: Patients with mucosal lesions form a significant number of routine outpatients presenting to the dermatology department where diagnostic confirmation using histopathological examination of mucosal biopsy is neither feasible nor warranted in every patient.
Objective: To study the dermoscopic features of various mucosal lesions affecting the oral cavity and to assess the reliability of mucoscopy vis-a-vis clinico-laboratory findings.
Materials And Methods: An observational, cross-sectional, hospital-based study was conducted over a period of 2 years from March 2019 to February 2021 in the dermatology outpatient department.

Objectives: To describe the clinico-laboratory profile, intensive care needs and outcome of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) during the first and second waves.
Methodology: This retrospective study was conducted in the paediatric emergency and paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) of a tertiary care teaching hospital in North India involving 122 children with MIS-C admitted during the first wave (September 2020-January 2021, n = 40) and second wave (February 2021-September 2021, n = 82) of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Results: The median (interquartile range) age was 7 (4-10) years and 67% were boys.
