Background: Difficult laparascopic cholecystectomy has greater risk of biliary, vascular and visceral injuries. A tool to predict the difficulty help to prepare a head and avoid complications.
Aim: the aim of this study is validation of preoperative predictor score and a modified intraoperative grading score for difficulty of laparascopic cholecystectomy.

Optimal fluid strategy for laparoscopic donor nephrectomy (LDN) remains unclear. LDN has been a domain for liberal fluid management to ensure graft perfusion, but this can result in adverse outcomes due to fluid overload. We compared postoperative outcome of living kidney donors according to the intraoperative fluid management.

To optimize the efficacy of analgesia for patients receiving laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, peri-operative pain neuroscience education (PNE) as a pain-specific cognitive therapy was incorporated into multi-modal analgesia. A randomized controlled trial was conducted to compare conventional analgesia (group CA) and the addition of pain neuroscience education into it (group PNE) in patients receiving laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. Characteristics of peri-operative pain was evaluated with Douleur Neuropathique 4 questionnaire (DN-4), central sensitization inventory (CSI), pain catastrophizing scale (PCS) post-operatively and pressure pain threshold.

Rationale: Ovarian tumor torsion is a critical gynecological emergency, predominantly affecting women of reproductive age, with benign teratomas being the most common culprits. In contrast, malignant ovarian tumors, such as mucinous cystadenocarcinoma, infrequently present with torsion due to their invasive and angiogenic characteristics. The occurrence of torsion in malignant tumors complicates diagnosis and management, particularly when associated with complications like congestion, infarction, and internal bleeding.
