Background And Purpose: Disease- or procedure-specific registers offer valuable information but are costly and often inaccurate regarding outcome measures. Alternatively, automatically collected data from administrative systems could be a solution, given their high completeness. Our primary aim was to validate a method for identifying secondary surgical procedures (reoperations) in the Danish National Patient Register (DNPR) within the first year following primary fracture surgery.

Objective: Patient positioning during clinical practice can be challenging, and mispositioning leads to a change in CT number. CT number fluctuation was assessed in single-energy (SE) EID, dual-energy (DE) EID, and deep silicon photon-counting detector (PCD) CT over water-equivalent diameter (WED) with different mispositions.
Methods: A phantom containing five clinically relevant inserts (Mercury Phantom, Gammex) was scanned on a clinical EID CT and a deep silicon PCD CT prototype at vertical positions of 0, 4, 8, and 12 cm.

Objective: To determine the optimal number and location of biopsy cores in renal masses based on mass size in order to maximize diagnostic accuracy.
Methods: This observational study included 360 patients with renal masses, who were divided equally into six groups. Each group was matched in terms of mass size (mass size category: ≤ 4 cm (T1a), 4-7 cm (T1b), 7-10 cm (T2a), and > 10 cm (T2b)).

Nailfold microcirculation examination is crucial for the early differential diagnosis of diseases and indicating their severity. In particular, panoramic nailfold flow velocity measurements can provide direct quantitative indicators for the study of vascular diseases and technical support to assess vascular health. Previously, nailfold imaging equipment was limited by a small field of view.
