Objective: To investigate the distribution of pathogenic bacteria in the patients with hematologic malignancies received hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and its influence on the expression of BCL-2 and BAX proteins.
Methods: The clinical data of 64 patients with malignant lymphoma (ML) received auto-HSCT from January 2011 to December 2015 in our hospital were analyzed. On basis of post-treansplant infection, the patients were divided into infection group (36 cases) and non-infection group (28 cases).

Objective: To detect paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) clone in aplastic anemia (AA) patients.
Methods: Flow cytometric technique along with antibodies against CD59 was used to estimate the amount of GPI-P deficient cells, characteristic of PNH abnormalities.
Results: Among 23 cases of AA studied, 13 possessed no excessive percentage of CD59(-) cells in peripheral PMNs and RBCs.

A 74 year old man developed progressive dyspnea under treatment with the tetracyclic antidepressant maprotiline for three months. A chest x-ray revealed extended pulmonary infiltrates. Marked eosinophilia of the periperal blood was found (up to 2300/microliter).
