Introduction: Resveratrol, a polyphenolic compound commonly found in natural plants and fruits, exhibits potential in preventing optic nerve damage in glaucoma, as indicated by several animal studies. However, there is presently a dearth of relevant evidence available for comprehensive summarization.
Methods: In this study, we conducted an extensive search across 7 electronic databases, encompassing all pertinent animal studies for a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: Obesity is a rising risk factor for various diseases including cardiovascular diseases and Cancer. The limitations of targeted obesity-treatment approaches employed in the clinic presently underscore the importance of developing integrative management strategies for identification of specific biomarkers of obesity.

The European Union (EU) currently addresses the issue of contaminated land management through the national frameworks of its member states, as there is no such EU legislation thus far. However, with the introduction of the new EU Soil Strategy and the anticipated Soil Monitoring Law, EU countries are poised to receive a unified legislative tool that is expected to enhance their soil policies significantly. These legislative developments are set to introduce key initiatives such as the establishment of a contaminated site registry and the imposition of restrictions on soil contamination using screening values and soil monitoring practices.

Ticks exert a significant economic impact on the livestock industry, particularly in Asian regions. Presently, chemical acaricides constitute the primary method employed to combat tick infestations in livestock, but their use carries adverse environmental consequences. Overreliance on acaricides has contaminated milk and meat products with chemical residues while fostering tick resistance to these agents due to improper and intensive application.

Objective: Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1) and Cytotoxic T Lymphocyte -Associated Antigen-4 (CTLA-4) are presently considered as prognostic markers and therapeutic targets in numerous human malignancies. The goal of this study was to determine whether PD-L1 and CTLA-4 might be used to predict patients' survival in Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC).
Methods: This retrospective cohort study analyzed 100 primary TNBC cases that had surgical resection at the Oncology Center of Mansoura University (OCMU), Faculty of Medicine, Egypt.
