Background: Tertiary centers recruit a number of locally advanced or recurrent soft tissue sarcomas (STSs) that require large tissue loss including vessels. Arterial reconstruction (AR) in the context of patients with cancer who may receive radiotherapy (RT) and chemotherapy (CT) is challenging.
Methods: This retrospective single centre cohort study includes patients affected by extremities or trunk STS who underwent an AR during sarcoma resection, between October 2015 and February 2021 at Institut Curie.

Scarpa triangle defects with exposure of femoral bypass are challenging to treat. The authors present the case of a 46 years-old male with a groin defect of 10×18cm with an exposure on 5cm of an allograft of the deep femoral artery. Bypass was performed in emergency because of a limb ischemia with deep femoral artery thrombosis and aneurysm of the superficial femoral artery.

BACKGROUND Upper limb replantation has become an almost routine procedure, with digital and hand reattachments being the most commonly performed. These remain challenging procedures to reconstructive surgeons, especially when there is trauma to the detached limb. Injury to the overlying skin and soft tissue can lead to tissue necrosis, sepsis, and loss of the replanted limb.

Background: We aimed to introduce our modifications by using eccentrically located muscular perforators to shorten the distance between the recipient vessels and the flap pedicle for overcoming the "short pedicle" drawback of the proximal lateral leg perforator (PLLP) flap.
Patients And Methods: A retrospective review of 12 cases undergoing free PLLP flap for hand and foot regions reconstruction during 2010 and 2019. The mean age was 43.

Fournier's gangrene (FG) is a rapidly progressive necrotizing bacterial dermo-hypodermitis of the perineum and external genitalia. It represents a real medical and surgical emergency requiring multidisciplinary care. Our study was based on the retrospective analysis of 18 cases of FG, collected in the Department of General and Visceral Surgery of Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital in Monastir over an 18-year period extending from January 2000 to December 2018.
