Bradykinin B1 receptor (B1R) has garnered attention as a cancer therapeutic and diagnostic target. Several reports on radiolabelled derivatives of B1R antagonists have shown favourable properties as imaging agents in cells highly expressing hB1R following transfection. In the present study, we assessed whether radiolabelled probes can detect B1R endogenously expressed in cancer cells.

The measurement of Ra and the identification of Ra-bearing minerals are important for studying the behavior of radium in the environment. Various instruments for measuring Ra are currently used: among the radiometric techniques that measure in bulk (no spatialization), there are gamma spectrometers and alpha spectrometers. Other instruments such as SEM-EDS can map the chemical elements thus providing information on the distribution of Ra, but are limited for ultra-trace analyses on natural geomaterials.

Cell Staining.

Cold Spring Harb Protoc

June 2022

When labeled antibodies are used to detect antigens in cells or tissues, several characteristics of an antigen can be readily determined. Most importantly, cell staining will show both the presence and subcellular localization of an antigen. Double-labeling techniques permit the simultaneous detection of two antigens, allowing comparisons of the relative distribution of different antigens.

Temporal and spatial changes in synaptic vesicle glycoprotein 2A (SV2A) under kainic acid induced epileptogenesis: An autoradiographic study.

Neurobiology Research Unit, University Hospital Copenhagen, Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, Denmark; Department of Neuroscience, University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark. Electronic address:

Synaptic Vesicle Glycoprotein 2A (SV2A) has been proposed as a presynaptic marker in several neurological disorders. Not only is SV2A the target for the antiepileptic drug levetiracetam, but also considered a marker of mature pre-synapses. In this study, we aimed to assess the binding of [H]UCB-J as a selective radioligand for SV2A to visualize and determine changes during different stages of epileptogenesis by in-vitro autoradiography in rat models of temporal lobe epilepsy.

A adenosine receptors (A-AR) have a cardio-protective function upon ischemia and reperfusion, but on the other hand, their stimulation could lead to arrhythmias. Our aim was to investigate the potential use of the PET radiotracer [F]FLUDA to non-invasively determine the A-AR availability for diagnosis of the AR status. Therefore, we compared mice with cardiomyocyte-specific overexpression of the human A-AR (A-AR TG) with the respective wild type (WT).
