Objective: In Morocco, as in many countries, a large number of patients use medicinal plants to treat their disease including urinary lithiasis. The aim of the present work is to study the antilithiasic effect of Erica multiflora aqueous extract, purported for its antilithiasic effect in the oriental region of Morocco.
Methods: E.
In this review, we analyze the etiopathogenic principles of urinary lithiasis formation. In the kidney, calcifications that may cause renal lithiasis are produced as a consequence of processes that injury the urothelium at the papilla and Bellini's ducts. With the improvement of imaging techniques, mainly micro CT scan, it is possible to detect them and we may be able to anticipate to the formation of lithiasis.

Purpose: The target of our work was to study several biochemical parameters in phospho-calcic and bone metabolism in blood and urine and the bone mineral density of women with recurrent calcium nephrolithiasis.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study with a control group of 85 women divided into 3 groups: group 1 consisted of 25 women without a history of nephrolithiasis, group 2 consisted of 35 women with only one episode of calcium nephrolithiasis, and group 3 consisted of 25 women with a history of recurrent calcium nephrolithiasis. Blood and urine biochemical study was performed, including markers related to lithiasis, and a bone mineral density study was done by use of bone densitometry.

Introduction: Pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis is a rare disease characterised by the formation and deposition of calcium phosphate microliths in the lung. It is an autosomal recessive disorder, for which mutation in the SLC34A2 gene was recently found to be responsible for the disease.
Observations: We report on four cases of pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis.
