Objective: Brachial artery aneurysms are rare entities that have typically been associated with trauma, infection, arterio-venous fistula creation or connective tissue disorders. These aneurysms are often asymptomatic, but they can also cause local tenderness or thrombo-embolic events. Due to the very low incidence of true brachial artery aneurysms, there are no standardized guidelines on their optimal management.

Behcet's disease (BD) is a systemic condition of unknown etiology, characterized by a wide clinical polymorphism. Vascular involvement in BD is rare and can be revealing in many cases. We present an advanced case of BD with multiple venous thromboses associated with urgent dialysis-dependent end-stage chronic renal failure.

Background: The absence of the left atrial appendage is an exceedingly rare structural variant that could have important implications for anticoagulation regimens in patients with atrial fibrillation.
Case Summary: We report the case of a 63-year-old Puerto Rican female with a history of hypertension, cerebral artery aneurysms, and type 2 diabetes mellitus who suffered multiple haemorrhagic strokes. The patient had never received anticoagulation therapy.
