This consensus document on cardiovascular disease in women summarizes the views of a panel of experts organized by the Working Group on Women and Cardiovascular Disease of the Spanish Society of Cardiology (SEC-WG CVD in Women), and the Association of Preventive Cardiology of the SEC (SEC-ACP). The document was developed in collaboration with experts from various Spanish societies and associations: the Spanish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (SEGO), the Spanish Society of Endocrinology and Nutrition (SEEN), the Spanish Association for the Study of Menopause (AEEM), the Spanish Association of Pediatrics (AEP), the Spanish Society of Primary Care Physicians (SEMERGEN), the Spanish Society of Family and Community Medicine (semFYC), and the Association of Spanish Midwives (AEM). The document received formal approval from the SEC.

Background: Huntington's disease (HD) is a multifaceted neurological disorder characterized by the progressive deterioration of motor, cognitive, and psychiatric functions. Despite a limited understanding of its pathogenesis, research has implicated abnormal trinucleotide cytosine-adenine-guanine CAG repeat expansion in the huntingtin gene (HTT) as a critical factor. The development of innovative strategies is imperative for the early detection of predictive biomarkers, enabling timely intervention and mitigating irreversible cellular damage.

Objective: To explore recently/currently pregnant people's experiences and views about cannabis use during pregnancy and their associated support for policies that punish pregnant people who use cannabis.
Methods: A market research firm administered a survey (May-June 2022) to pregnant and recently pregnant people ages 18-49 regarding their attitudes about cannabis use policies and practices. We used multivariable regression to assess whether cannabis use and beliefs are associated with support for punishing people who use cannabis.

Context: The timing of a woman's final menstrual period (FMP) in relation to her age is considered a valuable indicator of overall health, being associated with cardiovascular, bone health, reproductive, and general mortality outcomes.
Objective: This work aimed to evaluate the relationship between hormones and the "time to FMP" when daily hormone trajectories are characterized by their 1) entropy, and 2) deviation from premenopausal/stable cycle patterns (representing a textbook "gold standard"; GS).
Methods: As part of the Study of Women's Health Across the Nation, urinary luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), estrogen conjugates (E1C), and pregnanediol glucuronide (PDG) were measured daily from a multiracial sample of 549 mid-life women for the duration of one menstrual cycle.
