Nonsyndromic unicoronal synostosis is associated with variability of severity in orbital morphology and ophthalmological manifestations. The relation between the two is not fully understood, nor how surgical treatment with fronto-orbital advancement and remodelling (FOAR) changes the relation. The aim of this study was to elucidate associations between ophthalmological manifestations and variations in orbital morphology and globe:orbit volume ratios preoperatively and at long-term follow-up after surgery.

Introduction: Perinatal asphyxia is caused by a lack of oxygen to organ systems due to hypoxic or ischemic insult that occurs during labour and delivery. This may lead to multi-organ failure with brain involvement as the major organ of concern.
Case Report: We present a 19-day-old neonate referred to our centre with the complaint of inability to suck since birth and multiple seizures that started on the second day of life.

This study was conducted to assess the possible antidiabetic potential of by employing as well as assessments. The dried plant material was extracted in methanol, ethanol, and water. The in vitro results showed that the ethanolic extract (EthCb) was found to have higher antioxidant and antidiabetic potential as compared with the aqueous (AqCb) and methanolic extracts (MthCb) so it was further evaluated in the in vivo trial using a diabetic rat model.

Purpose: This case report aims to describe a rare case of asymptomatic retained metallic intraocular foreign body (IOFB) in the retina with reduced full-field electroretinography (ff-ERG) in a Chinese woman.
Methods: This is a clinical investigation of a patient who unexpectedly presented with a metallic IOFB at the superior-temporal region of the left eye ring during a brain computed tomography.
Results: Her best-corrected visual acuity was 20/20 in both eyes.
