We present a challenging case of infective endocarditis (IE) diagnosed after visual loss from bilateral ocular choroidal infarction in the absence of retinal vasculitis, typical retinal embolic phenomenon, clinical cardiac features or obvious medical history.Our case illustrates the difficulties in diagnosing IE and a high index of clinical suspicion is needed.

Purpose: To report a case of bilateral choroidal osteoma successfully treated with subscleral sclerectomy for secondary serous retinal detachment (SRD).
Observations: A 52-year-old Japanese woman first diagnosed with Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease and treated with steroids for 9 years was referred to our clinic. SRD in both eyes recurred frequently and was uncontrolled with adalimumab subcutaneous injections and oral cyclosporine, in addition to steroids.

This study aimed to explore the incidence of fundus hemorrhage in patients at high risk of coronary heart disease (CHD) and to examine its correlation with the SYNTAX score, a tool used to assess the complexity of coronary artery disease. This retrospective study consecutively enrolled patients undergoing coronary angiography (CAG) at Beijing Anzhen Hospital Hospital from June 2019 to January 2020.

: Amblyopia is a condition where children undergo unilateral or bilateral vision loss due to a variety of disorders that impact the visual pathway. The assessment of retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness in amblyopia has made optical coherence tomography (OCT) a useful technique for studying the pathophysiology of this condition. This study was conducted to assess OCT results for various forms of amblyopia, including macular thickness and peripapillary RNFL thickness.

We provide detailed analysis of the clinical examinations of a male patient with bilateral optic neuropathy from the acute stage to 8 years of follow-up.
