Background: Anastomotic stenosis after pull-through surgery remains a challenge in the management of Hirschsprung disease. Based on the management of esophageal stenosis, we evaluated the efficacy of combined radial incision and steroid injection for the treatment of refractory colorectal anastomotic stenosis after pull-through.
Impact Of Innovation: Combined radial incision and steroid injection is an alternative conservative treatment of refractory anastomotic stenosis after pull-though for Hirschsprung disease, avoiding a potential complicated redo pull-though surgery.

In recent years, 3D printing has been used to support surgical planning or to guide intraoperative procedures in various surgical specialties. An improvement in surgical planning for recto-sigmoid endometriosis (RSE) excision might reduce the high complication rate related to this challenging surgery. The aim of this study was to build novel presurgical 3D models of RSE nodules from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and compare them with intraoperative findings.

A 57-year-old man underwent emergency laparoscopic loop colostomy for acute recto-sigmoid obstruction. He was hospitalised 2 months previously, at another facility for diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and hyperkalaemia. He had no gastrointestinal symptoms prior to the hospitalisation.
