Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the current level of knowledge about lung cancer among urban residents in Sichuan Province and to assess its influence on their willingness to choose county-level or lower-level medical institutions for cancer screening.
Methods: A total of 31,184 urban residents of Sichuan Province were included in the cross-sectional study. Binary logistic regression and propensity score matching (PSM) were used to assess the influence effect.

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of prophylactic hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (P-HIPEC) in patients with locally advanced gastric cancer (AGC) after laparoscopic radical gastrectomy. Additionally, it explores how the frequency and timing of P-HIPEC influence treatment outcomes.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 227 patients with locally AGC who underwent laparoscopic surgery at Maoming People's Hospital from January 2016 to December 2022.

Background: Areas of conduction disorders play an important role in both initiation and perpetuation of AF and can be recognized by specific changes in unipolar potential morphology. For example, EGM fractionation may be caused by asynchronous activation of adjacent cardiomyocytes because of structural barriers such as fibrotic strands. Background: Aortic stenosis (AS) is treated through transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) or surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR), with diabetes being prevalent among these patients. Inflammation participates in the pathogenesis of AS, and emerging evidence suggests that TAVI may exert anti-inflammatory effects. Given the established link between diabetes and inflammation, we sought to evaluate the impact of aortic valve replacement (AVR) on glycemic control.
