B cell immunity carries the inherent risk of deviating into autoimmunity and malignancy, which are both strongly associated with genetic variants or alterations that increase immune signaling. Here, we investigated the interplay of autoimmunity and lymphoma risk factors centered around the archetypal negative immune regulator TNFAIP3/A20 in mice. Counterintuitively, B cells with moderately elevated sensitivity to stimulation caused fatal autoimmune pathology, while those with high sensitivity did not.

The response of soft materials to an imposed oscillatory stress is typically frequency dependent, with the most utilized frequency range falling in the range of 10-10 rad/s. In contrast to most conventional contact techniques for measuring material elasticity, like tensile or shear rheology and atomic force microscopy, or invasive techniques using probes, such as microrheology, Brillouin light spectroscopy (BLS) offers an optical, noncontact, label-free, submicron resolution and three-dimensional (3D) mapping approach to access the mechanical moduli at GHz frequencies. Currently, the correlation between the experimental viscoelastic (at lower frequencies) and elastic (at higher frequencies) moduli has fundamental and practical relevance, but remains unclear.

The signal amplification by reversible exchange process (SABRE) enhances NMR signals by unlocking hidden polarization in parahydrogen through interactions with to-be-hyperpolarized substrate molecules when both are transiently bound to an Ir-based organometallic catalyst. Recent efforts focus on optimizing polarization transfer from parahydrogen-derived hydride ligands to the substrate in SABRE. However, this requires quantitative information on ligand exchange rates, which common NMR techniques struggle to provide.

Multiple omics analyzes of Vaccinia virus (VACV) infection have defined molecular characteristics of poxvirus biology. However, little is known about the monkeypox (mpox) virus (MPXV) in humans, which has a different disease manifestation despite its high sequence similarity to VACV. Here, we perform an in-depth multi-omics analysis of the transcriptome, proteome, and phosphoproteome signatures of MPXV-infected primary human fibroblasts to gain insights into the virus-host interplay.
