Research has demonstrated that humans possess the remarkable ability to swiftly extract ensemble statistics, specifically the average identity, from sets of stimuli, such as facial crowds. This phenomenon is known as ensemble perception. Although previous studies have investigated how physiognomic features like gender and race influence face ensemble perception, the impact of face age on face ensemble coding performance remains a relatively unexplored area.

Developing translational nanoradiosensitizers with multiple activities in sensitizing tumor cells and re-shaping tumor immunosuppressive microenvironments are urgently desired for addressing the poor therapeutic efficacy of radiotherapy in clinic. Inspired by the anaerobic and immunoagonist properties of the probiotic (bifidobacterium longum, BL), herein, a biomimetic Selenium nanoradiosensitizer in situ-formed on the surface of the probiotic (BL@SeNPs) is developed in a facile method to potentiate radiotherapy. BL@SeNPs selectively target to hypoxia regions of tumors and then anchor on the surface of tumor cells to inhibit its proliferation.

Objective: To explore the network structure of common geriatric syndromes and conditions in physically disabled older adults.
Methods: We chose fourteen common geriatric syndromes and conditions from the dataset and estimated networks with the partial correlation network method. We tested the stability and accuracy of the network using the package "bootnet" in R software.
