Background: Few studies have explored the link between nutritional status and prognosis in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC), and existing findings are controversial. Thus, this study aimed to explore the effects of pre-treatment nutrition-related indicators on the prognosis of patients with newly diagnosed EOC.
Methods: In this ambispective cohort study, 1,020 patients with EOC diagnosed by pathology examination were enrolled and followed-up until December 31, 2023.

Background: Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is a common urological cancer globally and shows a favorable prognosis in early stages of the tumor progression. Due to the poor prognosis for metastatic RCC patients, it is crucial to explore the molecular biology of RCC progression to establish efficient diagnostic and therapeutic markers for these patients. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have critical roles in regulation of tumor cell proliferation, migration, and apoptosis during RCC progression.

Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), previously termed nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, is a major global health issue and a leading cause of chronic liver disease. The prevalence of MASLD is increasing globally, with the disease in some patients progressing to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), which significantly raises the risk of fibrosis, cirrhosis, and adverse outcomes. Accurate identification of patients with at-risk MASH, defined as MASH with a fibrosis stage of 2 or higher, is critical for timely intervention and management.

Background: Patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) are at a higher risk of cardiovascular diseases. Intravascular imaging (IVI)-guided percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) using optical coherence tomography (OCT) or intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) has been shown to result in better clinical outcomes than angiography guidance. Nevertheless, the clinical outcomes of IVI-guided PCI in ESRD patients remain uncertain.

Background: Creating a novel chemotherapy is costly both in time and capital spent for drug manufacturers. To regenerate what they've spent, drug manufacturers may attempt to repurpose their medications for new indications via clinical trials.
