Immunological methods of pregnancy diagnosis using both tanned red cell and latex particles are compared in a series of women (up to the fourteenth week of gestation) and also in negative controls. The tanned red cell test showed slightly more accurate and sensitive results throughout the trial. In 31 samples also submitted for the Hogben test the immunological test showed marginal superiority. It is concluded that immunological methods are reliable for the diagnosis of pregnancy at least between the fifth and the fourteenth weeks of gestation.

Background: Capsular contracture is a frequent and severe complication following breast implant surgery. Although several theories on the pathophysiology exist, the exact molecular mechanisms remain unclear. This study aimed to identify the specific genes, signaling pathways, and immune cells associated with capsular contracture.

Objective: Evaluate the effect of white noise intervention on sleep quality and immunological indicators of patients with breast cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC).
Methods: From January 2020 to December 2022, 104 newly diagnosed female patients (the number of people who met the inclusion criteria) with breast cancer who were confirmed to be preoperative NAC by puncture pathology were selected for a randomised single-blind trial. The patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 52 cases in each group.

Elucidating the interaction between membrane proteins and antibodies requires whole-cell imaging at high spatiotemporal resolution. Lattice light-sheet (LLS) microscopy offers fast volumetric imaging but suffers from limited spatial resolution. DNA-based point accumulation for imaging in nanoscale topography (DNA-PAINT) achieves molecular resolution but is restricted to two-dimensional imaging owing to long acquisition times.

Background: Familial Mediterranean Fever is a common genetic autoinflammatory disease prevalent in the Mediterranean region. The clinical course of the disease is characterized by fever and serositis attacks. While defects in the innate immune system are known to play a role in the pathogenesis of the disease, the impact of the adaptive immune system remains unclear.

Objectives: We applied the 2022 American College of Rheumatology (ACR)/European Alliance of Association for Rheumatology (EULAR) criteria to Korean patients previously diagnosed with giant cell arteritis (GCA) according to the 1990 ACR criteria and validated its clinical efficiency.
Methods: Nine patients with GCA were included in this study. The proportion of patients meeting each item of the 1990 ACR criteria and the 2022 ACR/EULAR criteria were assessed.
