An acoustic coupling scheme largely determines the performance of optical-resolution photoacoustic microscopy (OR-PAM), including practicability, sensitivity, and stability. In this study, we propose OR-PAM based on a local-flexible acoustic coupling scheme, which includes a well-designed combiner connecting a set of circulating systems. The combiner integrates an objective lens and an ultrasonic transducer, controls the water level, restricts the flow rate, and drains bubbles.

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of ' -- needling technique for diabetic fundus hemorrhage.
Methods: With before-after study design, 34 patients with diabetic eyeground hemorrhage were treated with basic treatment (oral administration of antidiabetic medication or insulin injections to ensure blood glucose in the normal range); in addition, acupuncture was given at bilateral Fengchi (GB 20), Taiyang (EX-HN 5), Jingming (BL 1), Cuanzhu (BL 2), Sanyinjiao (SP 6) and Hegu (LI 4). The ' -- needling technique was applied at Fengchi (GB 20); the heat reinforcing needling technique was applied at Taiyang (EX-HN 5); the slow needle insertion technique was applied at Jingming (BL 1); and the - needling technique was applied at Cuanzhu (BL 2); the neutral supplementation and draining method was applied at remaining acupoints.

To investigate the distribution and related factors of intraocular pressure (IOP) in the screened population aged over 50 years in Wenzhou. This study included 31 170 community residents aged 50 years or older in Wenzhou undergoing screening from March 2014 to January 2016. Participants underwent a complete ocular examination, including visual acuity, eye-ground photography, slit lamp and standardized measurement of IOP by non-contact tonometry.

Purpose: To determine the capabilities of "EyeGround" software in measuring the choroidal cross sectional areas in optical coherence tomographic (OCT) images.
Study Design: Cross sectional, prospective study.
Methods: The cross-sectional area of the subfoveal choroid within a 1500 µm diameter circle centered on the fovea was measured both with and without using the EyeGround software in the OCT images.
